Job description

As a Project Manager at Namecheap, you’ll lead a team to revolutionize communication by building a secure web platform for voice, video, and chat using domain names. You’ll coordinate the team, manage resources, and implement efficient processes. Join us to drive this innovative project from the ground up and shape its future success.


Where you’ll do it: 100% remote role from anywhere you want in Portugal or hybrid

The Interview Process: This is a two-week process with 2 stages: First, a 45 min HR chat ➡️ Then a 1h30 Values & Technical interview

Reporting toJulia Korytko, Deputy Director of Engineering

Your team: 17 people (2 Technical Leads, 1 Project Manager, 1 Product Owner, 1 Backend Developer, 1 Frontend Developer, 3 iOS Developers, 3 Android Developers, 4 Quality Assurance Analysts and YOU!)

What will be your responsibilities?

As a project manager, you’ll use Kanban to manage a team of Frontend Developers and QA Engineers. You’ll define and optimize workflows, develop plans, and allocate resources to meet timelines. Lead meetings, track progress, identify risks, ensure quality, and communicate project status to stakeholders.

What will you bring?

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical project manager with a focus on Agile project management in software development

  • Deep experience setting up and managing processes for a project from scratch

  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices pertaining to project management

  • Ability to analyze, document, and effectively communicate business requirements and technical design.

  • Possess effective problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results.
