Job Title: Junior Data Analyst

This individual will support data analytics and reporting capabilities on behalf of Leaf Health. The primary focus will be the generation of data-driven reporting and support for the development of Leaf Health’s data environment and informatics engine. The position provides exposure to PBM evaluation, consulting, and pharmacy benefit analytics tools.

Attention to detail is critical as our customers act on our recommendations to guarantee rebates and drive drug costs down for patients. SQL and SSMS are part of the daily workflow. Some familiarity with a scripting language is ideal.

The candidate will seek ways to improve accuracy and efficiency to continue building the foundation for our rapidly growing company. As we expand our team, the desire to transition to a lead role is considered a plus.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintain Leaf’s Data Warehouse and Processing environment.

a. Store data files in the AWS S3 Data repository

b. Monitor and download files from partner STFP portals; retrieve and push data files.

c. Work with SQL Server to enable ease of data access and incorporation into analytic tools.

d. Maintain HIPPA Compliant protected environment, including appropriate encryption technology.

2. Support integration of third-party databases, including MediSpan

a. Ensure up-to-date versions

b. Historical pricing data access

c. Troubleshoot any data gaps or corruption.

d. Integrate into client data sets.

3. Facilitate and Maintain all PBM and HCPCS data sets on behalf of Leaf Clients.

a. Maintain PBM or Client databases and incoming file process

b. Validate files for completeness and facilitate the process to correct

c. Ensure file loads are consistent and current

4. Reporting

a. Savings Model

i. Using SQL, generate requested Savings Analyses and PBM pricing comparisons

ii. Continually enhance the saving model and debug.

b. Audits

i. Using SQL, generate Audit reports on request

ii. Support the quarterly audit run process with final annual reconciliations.

iii. Debug and re-run based on corrected data.

c. HCPCS

i. Using SQL, run rebate estimates based on Leaf Health’s current rebate agreements.

ii. Develop integrated reporting between PBM and HCPCS data.

iii. Assess any duplicate claims by the member for the same drug under each database.

5. Rebate Administration and Oversight

a. Assist with quarterly data submission to Leaf Rebate Aggregators on behalf of Leaf Clients.

b. Troubleshoot data submitted by clients with the Leaf Health Consultant to ensure accurate data submission.

c. Validate data and reporting of aggregator via annual audit

6. Support Future System development

a. Data Warehouse capability and performance enhancement

b. Build Client Portal capabilities for self-service reporting

c. Automated reporting tools where feasible

d. Predictive analytics based on machine learning and data trending

7. Support Leaf Health Consulting Team

a. Attend Daily Call check-in meeting

b. Support and queue data requests and reporting needs

c. Assist with PBM calls and correspondences where necessary to secure accurate data and information

d. Be accountable and available to resolve priority issues if they arise

8. Support of Leaf Health client relationships

a. Assist on client calls where necessary

b. Share data observations and guide on any issues with client data submissions.

c. Support review of data audits with the client and Leaf Consultant

9. Grow and Development

Work with IT leadership on efforts to create organizational scale and redundancies.

a. Support prioritized projects and reporting needs.

b. Participate in education and development programs designated by Leaf IT leadership.

c. Learn new coding/documentation on future Leaf Health tools or applications where necessary.
